The BASTARD...burger.

You know you aren't in North America any more when a fast food restaurant can call a burger "The Bastard" without everyone shitting the bed because it might offend someone or be damaging to children or god knows what else. That being said the burger I had for dinner tonight was indeed named "The Bastard", the menu board listed it as "The Bastard" the girl at the counter responded no differently to my request for "The Bastard" than the lad the night before did to my request for "The Brie Injection". As far as she was concerned me asking for "The Bastard" was a perfectly normal request. That's because it is a normal request it's a hamburger called "The Bastard" and people in this part of the world can handle that. But I digress.

I ordered my burger. It took about five minutes for it to be ready and it cost me $11.70NZD ($8.14CAD). It weighed several pounds and I opted to pick up a 1.5L bottle of Coke to wash it down. Following the short walk back to ACB with my burger in hand I proceeded up the lifts to the kitchen level...camera in hand. I wanted evidence of this because I figured no one would believe it. Also pictures make this whole burger ordeal seem even more dramatic.

I looked up the burger on Burger Fuel's (Burger Fuel is amazing place, they're fast-food but they serve burgers that genuinely qualify as a meal) website to list the ingredients because it honestly had some pretty random stuff in it and I forgot what the menu said. Without further adieu... the ingredients

• 1/3 lb ground beef patty
• melted cheddar
• beetroot
• mango
• avacado
• bacon
• salad
• relish
• aioli

I felt completely satisfied after eating this burger. I purchased it on the recommendation of a friend here and I would definitely recommend the burger to anyone else. That's about all I have to say. Enjoy the photos!
