Epic journey to Mt.Eden (actually a short 30 minute walk)

Today I managed to get up before 11AM. In addition to this I decided it was a good day to actually go outside and do something. Two friends of mine said that wanted to go to Mt.Eden so I figured I should come along and get some fresh air and take some pictures. The walk there wasn't too bad. It took the three of us just over half hour to get there. Not too much to say about it outside the view from the top was very good and the crater itself was cool to see.

At the top of the mountain there is this compass like thing that shows the distance and direction to major cities around the world. Naturally I had a picture of me pointing at Vancouver taken. It's only about 12,000Km away.

After leaving Mt.Eden we stopped at a bakery and got an awesome loaf of cheese bread for $2.10 and a slice of carrot cake and a piece of caramel chocolate square for $1.70 each ($1.46CAD & $1.18CAD). Here are pictures of the consumption aspect.

That about wraps it up for this post. I'm off to eat free pizza soon followed by a burger of some sort if Im still hungry.
