WANTED: One Ninja...

WANTED: One Ninja for Ninja related work!!

Today started off like any other day. In the late morning I left for Duncan with my dad to go watch my sisters figure skating competition. Her synchro team got gold and she got silver for her solo, which makes her the second best skater in her division/class/level whatever you want to call it for the island she also got an artistic award for her solo. As exciting as all this was, not to mention hijacking a german tank this morning in BF1942, but I digress. The highlight of today came in the dying hours of the day, around quarter after nine. My dad has no job right now so he routinely looks through the classified in the TC for jobs. This is where he found a posting for a very unique job. The listing reads as follows...

WANTED: One Ninja for
Ninja related work. Stealth
and discretion are required
Please contact 592-2300,
please only serious applic-
ants. Must have own suit.

I really dont know what to say in response to that, it could very well be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I am currently contemplating submitting it to Ebaums world if they take it for their funny pictures section. I will be posting a scan of it after this post in the form of my daily picture. It will also be on my website. Please if you would like to use the picture for anything ask me first.

w000000t

Less than a week until Guildwars comes out, its going to be me, Maxwell, Sean and Jesse rockin the place up w0000000t. Anyways this could very well qualify as the greatest day of my life, dont ask why, just trust me :D!! I managed to solve the problem with not being able to view my site stats. But now I can, and I can also brag about how many hits I get a day, currently averaging at 18. To keep with the random momentum of this post Max sent me a really funny doctored screenshot he made. I will be posting it on my site later today or possibly tommorow so keep an eye out for out. I would like to end todays post by saying my sister got 1st place in the qualifying round of her skating competition, she also got the artistic award and will be skating again tommorow to compete for a medal and the chance to compete in Campbell river.

Mess with The Punisher...only if you can take the heat!!

36 out of 30 smokers want to quit smoking, 5 out 4 people do not understand fractions...

I cant remember the last time I had so much trouble holding back my laughter, I could not stop laughing. It all started on page one hundred and ninety four...Question six...section A. Shaun and I were working on this page together and we had both gotten to this question. The question stated that 5 out of six smokers want to quit smoking, it then asked, if there were 30 smokers how many would want to quit. Now I got twenty-five out of thirty, which as you may have figure out is the correct answer. Now here is where it gets funny, Shaun was convinced his answering was right and mine was wrong. Now in case you are just tuning in here is the score, I have come to the conclusion 25 out of 30 smokers want to quit smoking, now Shaun in his infinite wisdom has decided that 36 out of 30 smokers want to quit smoking. If you are smart, you will see that is impossible if there are 30 people 36 of them cannot think a certain thing its quite impossible. It took quite a but of discussion and reasoning to show Shaun the error in his ways. After this though we both couldnt stop laughing, we just kept repeating, 36 out of 30 smokers want to quit. It was slowly killing us, so we decided we needed more to laugh at. Based off that I came up with, 5 out of 4 kids are failing math. I proceeded laughing mostly non-stop until the end of TAG, it was all in all pretty sad.

On a completely unrelated note, I tried out "The Punisher". Its a pretty cool PC Game, the perspective is a bit weird and hard to get used to but all in all its a pretty cool game. The opening cut scene has to be one of my all time favorites, The Punisher kills 5 or 6 guys in probably 20 seconds using there own weapons after killing the gang leader with a shotgun from point blank. It was REALLY cool. Maybe if you can find a demo of this game check it out. Hmm I think that is all for the day, ya I think it is. Over and out.

If this was me at 2 or 3, it could proove that I am infact and 80 year old man in a 14 year olds body.

He did it....

Well there were many exciting happenings today. The most prominent being Tom finally being able to crush a popcan against his head. It all began at lunch today, Tom, Max, Darren and I were standing in the hall just chatting casually and all of a sudden there is this crunching noise and Tom doubles over in pain. Thats right you guessed it, dumbass smashed a can of pop over his head. He felt it alright but he did kind of squish the can. So it wasnt a total loss. The three of us found Tom's antics pretty funny because it scared the shit out of all of us, we though he got shot or something, it was pretty funny. In other news French was exciting as usual, Darren AND Tom both got tossed out 20 minutes into class for talking or something, I cant quite remember what it was for. Secondly I have found what could very well be the coolest city name in recorded history. I happened upon the name in french while looking over a map of Quebec, or Le Quebec as the Quebecians call it. The cities name is......SHAWINIGAN is that not the best name ever. Come on think of the possibilities, here is one that came to mind quite quickly use the word again after the name Shawinigan for example

"Lets go to Shawinigan again"

or better yet, say you have a friend named finnigan (I dont know what sick parents would call there kid finnigan, I also appologize if your name is finnigan or you are a parent who named your kid finnigan) anyways back to the example

"My friend Finigan is going to go to Shawinigan again"

I rest my case, best city name ever = Shawinigan. On a side note while looking at this same map. I found what could be the worst named cities ever, Kongiqsualujjuaq and Kongiqsujuaq. I cant even begin to understand how you can rationalize putting two J's in one word, and one after another. I dont understand it, who can actually pronouce those names answer = 0 people. I will give a prize and large some of money* to anyone who can pronounce one or both of those names. Well that about wraps up todays post. I just need to come up with a creative thing of the day.

... Time Dr.Freeman? Is it really that time again? It seems as if you only just arrived.

Painkiller!

Awesome game, I highly reccomend it to all who are into horror games. Pretty intense from the start, good to play in the dark with a good sound system. It has what could be the coolest melee weapon in any game I have ever player...the painkiller. Basically a motor driven? device with lots of sharp blades that go spiralling and hacking when activated, it also has a link gun type thing which is also handy in a pinch. I figure this bad boy could rip a person to shreds in probably 1-2 seconds, with little pain or suffering involved. You can grab the game off eXeem, there is a well seeded copy out there or you can probably grab it off anygood BitTorrent site, or as always you can support the developer and go and buy it. I think that will conclude todays post, I think I forgot most of whatever else happened today. Ahh wait one more thing, got some new shoes ;-) they are pretty l33t.

CRAAAAAZY!!!!

Another day of unforseen excitement

I missed yesterdays post, oh well. I guess I decided I might not post everyday. Anyways today was nothing short of hilarious, mostly in the afternoon starting during lunch. It all begin with ol' thomas going turbo spy/james bond/whoever the fuck he was trying to be, I honestly dont know. After watching his antics for awhile kelc decided enough was enough, in a period of maybe 10-15 minutes she dropped young Thomas 4 times using her ninja moves as she calls them. After lunch, I had french.... with Darren, Tom and Colby. This is a classic recipe for chaos, disruption and other related words. I think things were pretty out of hand right from the start. One of the things that is most prominent in my mind would be our quartet, I want you all to picture this, Ryan Laker, Thomas Watson, Darren Long and Colby Weeds all singing Bohemian Rhapsody. Now in my oppinion we didnt sound all that bad, although Simon (Kyle Emmery) thought otherwise. He stated that Tom and Darren were clearly the singers of the group, I was only talking and Colby was trying too hard. Oh well it was still funny. Second on the agenda for interesting things that happened in french, if you have ever wanted to see a paper airplane made out of the large cardboard type white poster paper you missed your chance today. Tom and Colby made their french clothing poster into a giant paper airplane and went out onto the front field during french for ten minutes and flew it around, this thing packed quite the power behind it too, easily enough to give one of the portables a good rattle. Well I think that about concludes todays post. I made a decision during this post, I dont really care if no one ever reads this, this will be a good place for me to remember the good times. For years and years to come.

SatireWire | Canada Has a Warship? Like for War?

SatireWire | Canada Has a Warship? Like for War? This was easily the highlight of an otherwise boring day, Colby sent me this earlier after he stumbled upon it. The author of this is a genius, I was laughing quite hard. Hmm pretty pumped about the upcoming guildwars beta weekend February.4th-6th that game is going to ROX0r T3H B1G 0N3111. Ahh another thing of importance I did today, I made a video of the Tsunami action over in Asia using stuff I downloaded off eXeem you can grab the video off the front page of my site http://lakerr.no-ip.com the video has some excellent shots of waves and stuff breaking on beaches and an amazing one of a pool being flooded over. You have to see it to believe it. In closing I encourage all you l33t RPG fans out there to get guildwars and join jesse, max and I on the 4th and beyond to battle it out in the lands of guildwars. Lastly our quote of the day.

I think for any of you tech savvy viewers I have an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) News feed, so if you have an RSS reader than add http://lakerr.blogspot.com/atom.xml Sage is a good RSS reader if you have firefox so grab that if you are l33t and have firefox.
