Our new bus driver on this trip is all kinds of awesome. He is in his 70's and his name is Rex. He reminds me so much of my own Grumpa. He is hilarious and totally random.

Tatapouri and Stingray Feeding!
Today we drove from Taupo to Tatapouri on the East Coast of the North Island. I was hoping to do Shark Cage diving here but it got canned due to choppy seas. I ended up doing Stingray feeding instead which was still pretty awesome. These things were quite big and would swim right up and eat out of your hand and everything. It was a great experience and worth all $25NZD ($16.61CAD) for sure.
