Surfing in Raglan

Today I took a bus to Raglan. Raglan is the surfing capital of New Zealand and has according to the brochures has the best left hand break in the world. The hostel we stayed at was a really cool and quiet laid back place with very friendly staff. Initially I hadn't planned on surfing but I ended up giving it a shot using a friends board. I never actually managed to get up on the board but it was fun anyways.

I am only here for the one night and tomorrow I am off to Taupo for two nights before heading to the East Coast.
