Nevis Bungy Jump Day

Today we got up at a semi reasonable hour and began the mental preparation required before jumping out of a small metal shack suspended 134m (440ft) above the ground. We went to the Bungy Jump center and hung around there whilst we waited for our bus. The bus driver was quite the comedian working as hard as he could to drain as much colour from his passengers faces as possible before we arrived at the jump zone.



When we arrived at the jump zone we got harnessed up and proceeded to this small metal box that would carry us to the slightly larger metal shack we would be jumping out of. It was really entertaining to watch people being completely terrified just before the jump only to see them come up with a big smile on their faces when it was over.



I am glad I did the jump it was a great accomplishment and I have pictures and video as proof of the jump.
