Day #2 In Franz Josef - ICE CLIMBING
Today was our day to go ice climbing at Franz Josef glacier. We got to the glacier centre at 7:30AM and proceeded to sign waivers and get suited up. The day was really long, really exhausting, really wet yet still really enjoyable. The weather reminded me so much of home. I was trekking through a lush green forest in the pouring rain in the way back from the glacier. I don't need to provide much a of a play by play for today I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. We walked to the glacier, we walked up the glacier and then climber some ice walls for a few hours and then walked back down. The views were stunning.
